Alyssa Tomoff was chosen out of more than 840 actors to play the role of Anna Kay Sutherland. "She has that thing," says Director, Daniel F. Scherl. "that thing that makes you adore her without realizing you did, and that's exactly what we wanted for Anna."
Alyssa started acting in the community theatre of Prescott, Arizona. When she grew up, she wanted to live in a city, but interestingly enough... NOT in California. She moved to Seattle where she danced professionally and was seen on many stages until she started acting again.
She has studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and with Chick Vennera at the Renegade Theatre Group. Alyssa is also a writer and is currently developing a series of children’s books based upon the real-life experiences of her crazy, but adorable terrier mix Buddy.
